Position Description

Reporting to the Aisle8 Vice President and General Manager the Aisle8 National Account Manager will be responsible for leading the efforts to win and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers.  This role must meet monthly sales quotas by generating revenue through questions-based consultative selling while providing best-in-class support and service.  The National Account Manager represents the entire range of company products, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is goal oriented and emphasis accountability for delivering results. This role is the primary point of contact for assigned partners, and requires combining sales, administrative, and technical skills to ensure exceptional customer support, sales support, sales engineering, and business planning for assigned partners. 

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage and establishes productive, professional relationships within large company accounts to ensure long-term success
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotes and assigned KPIs
  • Identify and develop new prospects, generate product interest and expand category penetration of existing customer base
  • Develop and manage strategy to grow market share within the IT/Datacom channel
  • Regularly reach out to prospects via phone and email and work to drive engagement and growth
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met
  • Analyze account profitability and determine sales technique, advertising and market penetration
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit your findings and analysis to senior management
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and business leaders
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Strong sales characteristics and skills, including: qualifying skills, overcoming objections and obstacles to a sale, and asking for the business
  • Ability to price, negotiate, and spec for new and existing customer accounts based on their needs and goals
  • Ensure continued customer satisfaction, build and maintain customer relationships and follow up with company resources to make sure after sales support is received
  • Ability to remain professional and focused throughout conflict resolution
  • Attend trade shows and industry events
  • Capable of multi-tasking and self-managing day-to-day scheduling
  • Stay informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy products, existing and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience managing national accounts
  • 3+ years’ sales experience
  • Demonstrated sales track record of growing business within large accounts
  • Willing to travel 50%

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Business Degree
  • Prior experience selling or working with technical or IT products
  • Located in the Charlotte, NC Area
