Position Description

The Production Assembler II will report to the Senior Operations Manager and is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical parts using a variety of tools and equipment in a specific area of the production line. The ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail are key attributes for this position.  The Production Assembler II will be required to perform repetitive tasks on a standing production line for long periods of time.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products on a specific area of a production line
  • Assemble electrical components on a specific area of a production line
  • Utilize hand held tools
  • Operate soldering or micro-welding equipment
  • Maintain inventory of product in work station
  • Rework/Repair assembled equipment according to engineering specifications
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

 

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ mechanical or electrical assembly experience
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Experienced using soldering equipment
  • Must be able to work 7:30am – 4:00pm

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous consumer electronic assembly
